About the teachers
In partnership with Allens Training RTO #90909, we deliver comprehensive training in three key areas of competency. Trainer Sophie Li: "As a first aid trainer with two years of experience and an extensive background as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) at Bluecare, I bring hands-on expertise and industry knowledge to my training sessions. My dual roles have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare practices, enhancing the quality of education I deliver".
Course agenda
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- To use an automated external defibrillator (AED).
- Rotate first aiders with minimal interruptions to compressions.
- How you will act if the casualty regurgitates or vomits.
- The course also covers conveying accurate incident details when handing the casualty to emergency services.
- Understanding the psychological impacts of an incident is crucial for both self-care and supporting other rescuers.
